[RESULTS UP!!] ASSIGNMENT 2 ~ Angels V. Demons ~

ELASTICGIRL
Comments: This is truly awesome. I would like to congratulate you on several things. First of all and most importantly, I think you were an amazing and perfect team leader. It is evident in your performance this week that you remained on top. I think it is an excellent idea that you decided for every team member to display one of the seven elements. It was definitely creative and an awesome twist on angels and demons. I couldn’t have chosen any other better person to lead a team. Now, on to your photo. I love the setting and your model’s hair. The pose is also good but it just makes her look a tad bit stiff. I think that since she is portraying darkness, she should not have a smirk/smile which I see now. She should be leaning more towards a demonic side—but remember, as you have darkness, it really is on the border line of angels and demons which makes it very hard for you to not give in to the temptation of becoming more demonic in this photo. The wings are awesome and very well edited in BUT I think if they were thicker, wider, and lengthier they would depict more angel wings. They just look a little wimpy and as if they were just pasted on behind your model. The feathers falling are an excellent touch and so is the cracking in your model’s torso. I think you did an excellent job on drawing the clothes but I do feel as if the bra-type top has a tad of demonic influence to it. I think the pointy tips on it represent more the demon horns rather than the darkness (your element). I feel like you could’ve made the tips spidery and slithering and disappearing into the skin to kind of become more consistent with the cracking in your model’s torso. The only thing I really don’t like in this photo is the glow to the eyes. Your model has beautiful eyes and I feel like this eerie glow didn’t do her any justice. As your model is an angel of darkness, you did get a very tough element since darkness mostly correlates with demons BUT the eyes then should’ve been ringed in dark shadows to show more of a consistent theme with the darkness element. Other than that, bravo, and superb job on thinking outside of the box for the entire team!!

NICOLLA:
i was again blown away by your assignment! It was well thought out,
and you did a good job with the whole team idea! You went a little
down though compared to last weeks assignment...It is High fashion
yes, but the braw and the twirls dont really make me say 'wow, thats
HF' also i was a little confused by the expression, it looks like a
face of 'Im fingering my vagina -_-'...and i think you did realitively
well with staying in bounds of the assignment, but i think it was a
bit too racy and dark for an angel, i would've called it a demon...the
quality looks great though, and my first look at your model and the
picture made me excited, its just the longer you look the more flaws
come out ;(

BRITTANY:
I love this, the whole image really does a great job at representing an angel of Darkness, I like that you have drawn on the fashion, and for your first time, you did a really great job. I like it, well done!

ELASTICGIRL
Comments: Your model’s face is just stunning! I love her pristine and beautiful white look. I think her red lips are also an excellent touch to the white surrounding her. I like the dress but the bottom of it is a little choppy and looks as if she is just pasted onto the background. There really is no dimension to the background as it doesn’t look like your model is set into the background. I also like the wings but they are a little un realistic since they kind of just look like sheets flying off of her back. I think if you added some dimension, less curve, and some detail (such as feathers) they would look more realistic and more like feathers. Also, the hair is a little too choppy and just looks like it was carelessly edited into the photo. And lastly, your model’s right arm is a bit crooked and not smooth where it bends at the elbow—which also makes the model’s pose look kind of weak. I feel like a different pose would fit the spirit—especially since I would imagine the spirit embracing an individual with their conscious. So in this case, maybe a pose with more eye contact and the arms out would be most ideal. other than this, awesome job—but not one of your best.

NICOLLA:
Dissapointing...ESPECIALLY after your crow pic, i thought you would
have maybe done a little bit better, but i think it was the opposite.
I think this is somewhat fashiony, but i cant tell the expression
under the hair drawing, which wasnt very good. You didnt goo out of
the box hair though, i wish she was a bit more underdressed or naked
as spirits should be, no makeup, no clothes, and flying high! im just
not at all impressed. The clothes dont match quality, and id be
worried if i were you.

BRITTANY:
I just love this! The dress is gorgeous, the wings are beautiful, the setting is stunning, overall this is one of my favourites! Flawless.

ELASTICGIRL:
Comments: This is definitely not your best Gladice. I understand you had a problem with graphics, but that doesn’t make up for some of the things that can be improved on in this photo. First, the wings look too fake and aren’t edited well into the photo. They kind of look like withering flower petals coming out of her shoulders and not her back. In addition, her lipstick is a horrible choice, to be truly honest with you. I like the vines around her but I do not like the shading. Your model also looks as if she were just plopped into this photo, I wish there was more shading where her arm hits the tree. And lastly, the birds in the distance between the branches are awkward and don’t fit in with the photo—it only looks like something to busy the space in the photo when in reality you do not need those birds at all. I also do not think the lens flare is necessary at all. Overall, I think there is a lot more you could do with this photo—it is definitely lacking and might be the photo jeopardizing your team. I expected a lot more from you, Gladice.

NICOLLA:
Wow, Gladice you have SO much potential! i feel like it was wasted
here. Your highest score was an 10 and only 1 10, and you everything
marked as an 8 besides the facial experssion of a 6.5...Im not sure i
like the use of the leaves...the wings have really bad quality, the
makeup and hair drawing were not executed at all. and the face was so
hard to tell what was happening, I think creativity was your one good
part here! bringing the tree back to life, and the crows all flying
away make me feel as though this is an angels atmosphere.

BRITTANY:
I love how you have portrayed the idea of bringing dead trees come back to life with your touch, that was neatly done. Also I like the wings and the plants you're using as an outfit...however I noticed that your sim has a shadow against the sky, which makes it look a little fake...also I don't feel you chose a good shade of lipstick, this one kind of hides your facial expression.

ELASTICGIRL:
Comments: Very nice Imogen! This is definitely better than your first assignment. I like how you used your model’s striking blue hair to fit with the element of water. I like the setting, the dress, the pose, and mostly everything. I love the reflection too in this photo. But as much as I like the dress, I don’t think it fits with your element. You need something that flows more and drapes across and down the model and floats into the water. It would be cool actually, if you had a dress that turned into the water she’s walking on. Now, if for this photo you would’ve taken it to another level and had your model walking out of the water and her body melting into the water, and then it would be a crazy awesome photo! Other than that good job!

NICOLLA:
All in all, i was dissapointed once again by you Imogen. I gave you
10's for only 2 things, High fashion, because i could see this picture
with a little bit of clearing up...and the makeup, hair and dress were
perfect for a sweet angels, now to describe your many mishaps -_-...I
couldnt even see the experssion, but i wouldve liked a smile or a
flirtacious look. The quality was so bad too, i gave you a 5/10 for
that.You did what you were told but i dont think you did anything
'really' cool with this photo, maybe some simple stuff, like giant
waves or water dancing behind Imogen? I think you were a little
creative but it couldve used more than a ginourmas moon.

BRITTANY:
I really like the idea you had with this one, the setting is beautiful, your reflection in the water looks good and I love the dress you chose. Also I think the blue hair and wings really tie in nicely with the water theme. Great job!

ELASTICGIRL:
Comments: I think your model is simply stunning. This is a huge improvement from your previous photo. I really like the hair style, the subtle makeup, and the level you went to to represent the maternity in an angel of light. Very good. The only thing is I don’t like Charlie’s left wing because it is too white and stands out as a block of white instead of the figure of a wing. I like the other wing though and think it would be better if the left wing also had that detail. Also, although you are showing maternity and light, I don’t really like the half-nude top of the dress. It’s nice and you edited the dress very well but I don’t feel like it fits with the angel of light or the context. It’s just a little out of place. Maybe if you had the dress kind of see through over both her breasts like it was a veil with light and sparkles sprinkling it it would be better. But other than that, I love the concept and the light feeling I get when I look at this photo.

NICOLLA:
GURL! you went from the bottom 4 to one of my faveorite shots!
AMAZING! This is so high fashion, and girl, even though this was just
a regular angel picture...YOU NAILED IT! perfect quality, Charlie
looks like an angel, the clothes drawing was amazing, the chice of
hair and makeup was great, and your only downfall was Charlie's face,
looked like she was some constapated or somethin.

BRITTANY:
This is really beautiful, there's a an air of elegance about this picture. I like the hair you used, the outfit you drew on looks great, even if a little blurry and there's the boob showing, which is always lovely. Nice one!

ELASTICGIRL
Comments: Ah your model is gorgeous!! I love her cheekbones which are very prominent in this photo. The horns are also a nice touch but I think you could’ve edited a little more around them and showed a shadow where the horns puncture the skin. The wings are also very well edited in—my only concern is I think it would be better with a little shadow in the wings and behind them—they just seem to flat to me. I love your concept of her towering over the city and destroying it with fire. There are a few things that can be improved on. For one, your model should look a little more fierce. She is like Godzilla of demons! She should be pouty and have an angry, even ugly face to show her demonic side. She just looks like a little girl who started a fire and was like, “woops…” There should be more emotion in the face. There are also some areas in the background where the cracks are 1D on the 3D background. for example, where the right hand street veers to the left, the cracks just go straight across from one side of the road to the other—there should be some dimension to it—at least make the cracks more curvy as it goes UP on a curve and into the grass. And lastly, the shadows behind your model are a little odd. They just end ¼ way. I see they come from your model’s feet but shouldn’t the shadow be a replica basically of the model’s WHOLE body? Other than those little details, I feel like you did a very good job for this assignment. I love it and cannot wait to see more of your work!!!

NICOLLA:
...Im not sure what to say...i like the first picture better. I wish
farah's expression was a bit more...devious...and i wish there was
bigger fires and more smoke in the picture, the wings don match the
quality. I did like the clothes drawing though! and you were
relatively creative.

BRITTANY:
This turned out really good, I love the outfit, and the wings. The fire effects look great too. The cracks are good, although they're not too convincing, they do look a little fake, however overall this looks chaotic and fabulous.

ELASTICGIRL:
Comments: Wow this is simply stunning! Your model’s pose is perfect, the clothes are stunning, the wings are amazing, and your model is blended superbly in to fit with the background. I love how you see half of her face and then she has that black tear running down her face. I also love the clothing and shading…I still honestly cannot believe this is a sim and you edited all this yourself! It seems almost too perfect and amazing to be a sim photo!! The feathers falling and the crows in the background is also a perfect touch. And I also like how your model’s feet are fading into the background, it makes her look as if she really is a demon who sticks around but also is translucent to many people in a way that is figurative and also literal. The only thing I would really suggest working on is the hair. Your model’s hair looks staticy and poorly edited in. I don’t like those knotted twists of hair flying around her that kind of creates a halo—it is not at all attractive and doesn’t do the entire photo any justice. I think if the hair was neater, and waves that fluttered lightly in the wind this photo would seriously save your entire team—even if everyone else didn’t have as good photos as you! Bravo, superb, amazing, supercalifragilisticexpialidocious job! (OMG I actually spelled it right (:-- the red squiggly line didn’t appear! YAYZ!!) **EDIT: Now Designful after analyzing your photo and talking to an unnamed individual and expert on editing and photography, we have been able to assume that what you created is not much of an original photo of your sim model. The face looks plastered and the body looks close to nothing to a real sim body that's posed. Also after more analysis we feel as if the face is not the same as your model. In this case, if my assumptions are correct, are you jeopardizing yourself and the entire team by your wrongful actions??**

NICOLLA:
*.* such a mesmerizing photo! IM BLOWN AWAY! it was perfect in every
department but 1. This is unbelievable, too unbelievable...i gave you
a great score, i just think the creativity is a little low. God knows
how much work you put into this photo. But i wish the backgground had
more editing, and it werent black and white. Gorgeous hair drawing,
and clothes drawing too!

BRITTANY:
This is just amazing! Everything is sooo effective from the setting, outfit, wings, dark color scheme, everything. You did a really great job!

ELASTICGIRL
Comments: Good job. I love the fire and the mess you made for your photo. The overall appearance is very nice and fits the whole demon apocalypse theme. I also love the thing coming out of the ground (not sure exactly what type of beast/monster/plant it is) but it adds an excellent touch. Now, your model could use a little work. To me, she seems a little too excited and bubbly to be the one destroying the whole frickin world!! She kind of looks like she is dancing the cha cha which makes me doubt how much demon she really has in her. It’s something I see consistent with your first photo—you do not capture the right mood in your model’s face and that is something that will hurt you in the future. Other than that, I love her dress and love this whole setup.

NICOLLA:
BAO! ERHMAGAWD! this is my favorite of all the entries1 its perfect
all around and i even gave you 2 11's, which made your scoee higher
than possible 72/70...The fire was great and so were the people, Bao
looked magnificent and i love the pit monster! the tattoes work
perfectly and i love the blood on her face.

BRITTANY:
This is just amazing! Everything is sooo effective from the setting, outfit, wings, dark color scheme, everything. You did a really great job!

Comments: I think your model is very pretty. You definitely show the high fashion sense to it. I also like the office workers who look like they are begging her but I feel like they are a little too close together and look like they are kinda on top of each other. I like the setting and the fire (I think that’s what it is) streaking the night sky. I don’t really like your model’s face though…it kinda is ugly and doesn’t compliment her good looks or pose. I would suggest for this photo maybe lowering her chin and opening her eyes so they glare ahead. In addition, the whole photo is a little dark and it could be a little brighter. Other than that, I like that you did not include wings because although this picture is harder to tell if it’s demonish, it gives the photo a more realistic touch. Nice job!

NICOLLA:
Im going to say it again, your application was my favorite and this
isnt. I think its high fashion but that was your only 10...I cant see
her face that much and the lighting was not in the right place, i like
the fireballs but the outside should have been lit more, i also wish
you wouldve used her gorgeous red hair to play into fire, especially
because your the only girl who got into that advantage.

BRITTANY:
I really like this, my only criticism is that lighting is rather dark...perhaps this was deliberate, but I think it makes it harder for us to see any detail. I love the dress, infact the whole outfit works really well, this is really well done!

ELASTICGIRL:
Comments: AHHHH BUBBLES!!!! THIS IS MY FAVORITE PHOTO YET! I absolutely love your model’s facial expression, the whole concept, and the hair drawing. The makeup is superb as your model looks beautiful yet a scary horrific demon. I love the pose, the strings, the puppets, everything. It is a very smart idea and honestly, I love this photo so much that I don’t know what to tell you to improve on! The only thing I can suggest is a different pose for the puppet woman on the right. She looks kinda weird with her head lolling in front of her. it would’ve been cooler if her face was up and she had a very sad/scared look on her face with maybe some blood. Other than that, I simply love this photo! BRAVO!!!!

HOLY BGSJHDJDFPRH! OMG! gurl where you get yo skillz, me needs em!
This was amazing! There were a copuple of misteps though...-_-...Its
high fashion yes, but i just wish the girl in the middle had regular
people clothes...the expression looked great! I do not think you
related to the team plan though...i mean it was world
domination/tearing the world apart..and i didnt get that in your
photo. the quality was the best of all the photos, but i didnt like
the blood and the dodging and burning was to hard on the photo. IT WAS
SUPER CREATIVE THOUGH! and you got 2 11/10's Well done!

BRITTANY:
This is such a clever and creative idea! The editing is very well done, the poses used on the puppets are a great choice. As for fashion, well, i do feel this lacked a little high fashion on the main sim, but regardless, this is a stunning assignment entry!

ELASTICGIRL
Comments: Congrats Justice on being captain of the Demons. I first would like to say you pulled it off very well and I am happy to see you got your entire team to submit photos depicting various stages of an apocalypse. I think it is very interesting how you tied demons together with this fantasy, dystopian view. Now onto your photo. I really like how you went far and beyond to stand out from your other team members. You definitely reached to show you were the captain and leader of all the demons by making your model the Queen. I like her outfit, the cape, her pose, the tattoos and everything—you did an excellent job drawing everything in and making her menacing. The red eyes and white hair fit perfectly with her dark skin and definitely create a wickedly awesome photo. The only stuff I would recommend fixing is not putting that gargoyle thing on her arm—it just looks a little out of place and looks as if you just plopped it on her arm. In addition, I don’t like the purple stuff coming off her hand—it looks kinda bad and out of place. Other than that, I really like this photo and think you pulled it off very well (:
