| i saw that one but it says for patch 1.39 and im only at 1.38 and the last time i installed something over my patch number i lost everything D;

| Well, I don't recommend the HQ mod unless you guys are up for frying your Graphics card quicker than usual, in exchange of Better Textures. :p It actually forces the Graphic card more than usual.. Which is definitely not good, it reduces its' lifespan. It also /ONLY/ works with Textures that are HQ-Compatible, not all of the CC is like that.. Which means there is a chance that almost nothing might improve in your game. I don't and, will never use it for that reason. There are other ways to improve your graphics that wont harm your card. Such as correct lighting, taking pictures in a CAS world, taking pictures in a Basement.. Etc..  Just wanted to leave my opinion in here ^_^ | |

| Ooo thanks Liz! I was thinking of downloading the HQ mod when I heard about it but if it's going to fry the Graphics card over time then I think I'll survive without it | |

| It doesn't necessarily happen instantly..
But it definitely fries it more quickly.. For example, lets say your graphics card normally will last you 5 years.. If you overuse it multiple times with the HQ mod for example, it will probably lessen its lifespan to... 3..
It also depends on how long and how often you use the HQ mod.
But it /IS/ proven to damage your card. | |
